Xbox one Headset Adapter Limits Volume

So I recently purchased a pair of turtle beaches for the XB1 that came with the Microsoft headset adapter. I was ready to return the headset because the max volume on them was not anywhere near loud enough. I then tried them on my phone only to discover
that wow they get plenty loud of enough, so the Microsoft headset adapter is to blame.

This is terrible, is it even possible for them to fix this with an update or is this just another example of Microsoft making terrible hardware? This just gives me another reason why I believe purchasing an Xbox one is a total mistake. You can't enjoy
the full potential of your gaming headset because it goes through a *** Microsoft adapter that is restricting your volume. Anyone else notice this?

    :)

    Limiting volume for child

Is it possible to limit the max volume on my child's Xbox one headset? Or are there headsets with limited volume available?

Xbox One stereo headset adapter/game sound

I just purchased the Turtle Beach XO Seven set which came with the Xbox One Stereo Headset Adapter. I have maxed out every volume option available and its still really quite. If i plug my headset into my phone or any other device the volume and sound quality
is great. I don't even have to max out the volume on those. WTF Xbox? Give us more control over boosting headset volume when using the Xbox One Stereo Headset Adapter!!! Like Today

Hi GODMODE, try going into settings and select display and sound. In there you will find your stereo settings and you can mess with the chat mixer where you can adjust the chat or the game audio.
