Will Current gen headsets work on Xbox One?

I have my Astro A40s and I will hate to not use them for the Xbox One. I noticed the Xbox One controller doesn't have the headphone jack. Will the Xbox One have an adapter which you could use a headset that has the headphone jack?

    Afterglow Headsets.

The Afterglow Wireless headphones DO WORK on the Xbox one. If you use the HDMI port to hook your Xbox One up to the TV, you must use the "Audio Out" jack on your television. The red and white audio jacks can unplug from the USB Afterglow transmitter by
just pulling in the middle. Hook that headphone jack into the "audio out" or "headphone" jack on your television. Sound should play through your Afterglow headphones then. Make sure no other wires are hooked to your Afterglow headphones.

To recap, you will hook your USB transmitter (the blue glowing thingie with the red and white audio jack) into ANY USB port. I have mine hooked to a laptop since it doesn't reach the USB port on the back of my Xbox One (you only need to get power to the
transmitter). Then, make sure your tranmitter is hooked to the TV. Because the Xbox One uses HDMI, you must put the red and white AV connections in the "Audio Out" jacks OR, just unplug the "red and white" AV connection extender, and hook the normal headphone
jack directly into the "auido out" or "headphone" jack on your TV.

There shouldn't be any problem if you do that.

It should be alright but to be safer, I would strongly recommend only removing/changing the batteries once the controller is powered down.

Are Xbox Design Lab controllers compatible with Windows 10?

they are the same as the standard xbox one s controllers, so with pc you can use via bluetooth(audio through headphone jack not supported)

or wired(supports audio via headphone jack)

my headphones are not recognised on my xbox

Are you talking about a USB based one or a 3.5mm jack head phone

If USB based then it has to be xbox compatible from your description it's a computer based usb one as headphone jacks donr need to be recognized and only made for xbox headphones work with the console either with port or syncing

If 3.5mm jack when try inserting the jack

Should.be noted if the jack wire is flayed you will have aloe of problems

Xbox One Will Not Include a Headset

Not trying to be a PS4 fanboy, but a PS4 can use just about any headphone.

I don't know about the Xbox 360 headphone jack, but for some reason it worked on one of my older phones. What type of jack does it use?
