Xbox one HDMI no signal

I was playing a game on my Xbox one and suddenly my game froze so I did a soft reset (held the power button for several seconds) to turn it off and when I tried to turn it back on my tv wouldn't recognize it, it kept displaying no signal. Since then I
haven't been able to get back onto my Xbox. If I turn it on and leave it on for 10-15 minutes then it displays the green Xbox screen but it freezes on that screen and won't open everything. I've tried unplugging everything and plugging it back in, I've tried
turning it off and turning it back on in low resolution, and I've tried it on different tvs, nothing is working. Somebody please help me

problem streaming cable TV through xbox one

I had no issues with streaming cable TV through my new xbox one (HDMI cable from cable box into xbox one), then suddenly it no longer picked up the cable TV signal. I know the cable TV signal is fine since I can re-route the HDMI through my receiver and
pick up the TV signal fine. Is it possible that the xbox HDMI jack has failed? Or some other reason that it would suddenly stop picking up the cable TV signal?

Xbox One HDMI No Signal

I just got a refurbished Xbox One today, and I've setup everything. All the cables are plugged in. I have it in the correct HDMI slot (HDMI out) and it's turned on. But my TV is saying that there is no signal, and I'm not able to select the HDMI Input that
it's plugged into.

I've tried unplugging everything and plugging it back in, I've tried cold resetting it, I've tried mutiple HDMI cords, and I've even prayed to the Xbox God himself. Nothing has worked. I've spent at least 2 hours trying to figure this out.

And no, nothing is wrong with my TV either, it works perfectly fine for my cable and my other consoles.

Can anyone help? Or will I have to send it in to be repaired?

Hello there, it may sound like your Xbox may require a service order, based on the steps you have already taken. If it freezes regardless of what tv or cable setup you use for your video, I recommend checking out this link here:
devicesupport.microsoft.com/en-US. This will require you to sign in with your Microsoft account. I am very sorry about this issue occurring.

If it outputs an HDMI signal, you can plug it in to the HDMI input on the Xbox One and it will work.

People have the misconception of HDMI pass through. All this means is that the HDMI signal from your cable box is "passed through" the Xbox one. If your Xbox isn't on, it won't be able to pass the signal through.

These devices just grab the HDMi signal at the sorce, so it's possible that they'll continue to work as long as Xbox One will have an HDmi connection.

Removing the Xbox One eliminates the issue, and swapping HDMI cables into and out of the Xbox One does nothing. Signal loss is basically permanent now.

HDMI cable from Xbox One to receiver is the one provided with Xbox One, all other HDMI are insignia highspeed HDMI.

The Xbox One doesn't directly pass through the HDMI signal. It always "intercepts" everything coming in from the HDMI in port and processes it.

Since the original idea was to have TV and games "picture in picture", the Xbox takes the video signal, and processes it to be included with the TV app on the console and then outputs it via it's own video signal to the TV.

Since the original Xbox One isn't 4K capable, you will not get 4K from your cable box if you run it through the original Xbox One.
