    Hi,

    I got an xbox one console, and woaw what is that thing quiet.

    But is it normal that the xbox one hdd loading sound is sometimes louder then the fan itself?

    Im sitting 2 meters away from it and i can hear the hdd. (If i mute my tv ofc)

    Ok so are you better off with a plugged in HDD or just connected to the Xbox One?

    Thank You So much. I am going to buy a 1TB External HDD and use it as my Primary Storage for Games and the Xbox One HDD will be for the System so that the Xbox One HDD don't slow down.

    I would agree if the Xbox one couldn't use an external HDD, but it can, so the 500GB HDD was plenty to begin with. 1 TB xbox ones are also available right now.

    The WD HDD Book version is just as good as the passport, they both use WD HDD drives. Mine has run since the update and works perfect!
