    XBOX ONE HDD NOISE


    Hi there i got problem with my new xbox one console. I found this video its not mine but i got the same problem .
    its hdd and its doing it just when he is inactive. I just wanna now how Seriously this problem its. Cause if it just gonna do this noise but everything will be alright. I will conttinuing with playing. So i wanna know hot seriously problem this is. Thanks

    Never ending issues with our Xbox One Consoles

    On my second issue I was able to capture the noise by sitting in front of my Xbox One since I first posted the above waiting for the noise and trying different things to recreate it. I put Ghosts in and it was then when it was loading up that the noise started again.

    Here is the noise in question of the Xbox reading the HDD, is this normal and does your box sound the same? Thanks

    Xbox One HDD(?) Noise

    It was downloading something. But when I turned my Xbox on, the download was finished and got removed from the 'downloading' section. When it was done I turned off my Xbox again, but it kept making the noise anyway. Did the power cycle and somewhere in the
    last couple of days the noise stopped. Hasn't made it since.

    Thanks to Eden0032. Might be the power cycle fixed it or it was just downloading something that wasn't visible on the downloads list. Whatever it was, it seems to be fixed.

    Hi there!

    Can I ask that you perform a power cycle on your console to see if that fixes it. Please follow the instructions below:

    1. Hold down the power button for 10 seconds until the console turns off.

    2. Wait for 30 seconds, then disconnect the power cable from the wall.

    3. Wait a further 30 seconds, then reconnect it all back and turn the console on. It may take a bit longer than usual to start.

    4. Sign in to your account.

    This should hopefully fix these noises.

    One other possibility is that the console is downloading something (which means that the console is active, and it does make noises during this). It could be an update, or it could be a game or app downloading or updating. Please check "My Games and Apps"
    to see if this is the case.
