XBox One having trouble turning on

My xbox one has been running fine for about a year now, but just this week I was having trouble turn it on. When I turn the console on the power light will turn on and the power brick will show a white light as well, but the tv just shows a black screen.
When I try to turn the controller on it will blink for about a minute and turn off. I have checked all USB cords and power cords, which are all plugged in properly. I hav tried to power cycle it multiple times. This has been going on for almost two weeks now
and any help would be much appreciated! Thanks!

Xbox one having trouble turning off.

This is normal, it will take a while until it is complete shut down. Just like a PC, they also do not complete shut down when you give th command Turn Off.

In this time it will Close all "Tasks" (Apps) or something else.

When you hold Power Button you`re performing a Hard Reset (ColdReboot) this will clear the System-Cache.

(Thats a way to workaround a lot of Problems if they occur)

 

Xbox one having trouble turning off.

This has happened a couple of times recently. When I power down my console the TV would go blank and the kinect would turn off but the console would stay on with the power light flashing. It and the power brick stays running. Also the controller stays lit
up. It takes holding down the power button to turn it off. Anyone know what might be causing this problem? Also just to note I have the system in power saving mode.
