Xbox one having trouble running games

So a few weeks ago my xbox began having trouble running games. I have all of my games downloaded to a 4tb seagate external harddrive. So it happens in 2 ways: either while im playing the game will crash and then it says that is taking too long to start the
game, or i go to "my games and apps" and nothing loads. It shows that it is trying to load all of my previously downloaded games but just infinitely loads. Also sometimes when this happens and i restart my xbox I cannot connect my controller that was already
connected. Ive already factory reset (with and without games staying on) multiple times.

Any ideas what is happening?

Yeah I've tried it with a separate xbox within my house and i haven't run across any problems yet. But I'm still just skeptical that its a HDD issue because of the controller issue that also pops up.

Maybe your hard drive is full and that makes your console saturate, regards

you can remove your usb hdd to try

upgrade to a newer console & extental hardrive

Are you try other HDD , other USB port or game save on xbox base HDD?

If save on Xbox base HDD have not problem,

this may be your HDD and USB port have the problem.

And then,

If you have more game need update or more game data is loading,

this maybe have your problem too.

You may try to open your xbox and don't operation the xbox,

wait 1-3 hours
