xbox one having problems powering up

Anyone else having problems with their xbox one powering up ? i have tried to swap power cord connection and this did not work.

my xbox one turns on momentarily then abruptly turns off. this is the first time in over a year that i am having problems with my xbox. i am unable to get any error codes

any help would be great , thank you

Xbox One Powering Up Issue

My Xbox One all of a sudden just powered down and now will not turn back on. I reset the Internet and unplugged the entire console several times and it still won't work please help solve this issue.

Hey,

I've yet to experience the issue again since I've unplugged and plugged the Kinect back in, perhaps I will see it happen again if you have.

I'm not sure what other issues could cause it.

 

Mine is doing the same thing, I have done all troubleshooting, only solution is paying $115 for them to fix a product that has already cost me close to a $1000 (counting games/controllers/xbox live). I truly can't believe how a company can create a product
that breaks and then charge people 25% of the cost to fix it. Fixing it should be free. What a joke! This will be the last Microsoft product I buy, not just for gaming but any products.

Good thing Microsoft does not build parachutes......

 

Did it show the home screen ?

 

I means mine will stock at home screen and then shutdown automatically ! nothing help to solve this but I can skip that by entering the setting at white logo

wow I hope this is not going to happen to me. Just the other day I was trying to turn my xbone on and you can hear the sound it makes when you press the power button but nothing happened. I had to unplug it from the back and it started. Just hope its nothing
that will lead to something. Same here never had a problem with it till a few days ago. Wouldn't surprise me they set these console to eventually fail so you have to get it repair or replaced. MONEY MONEY MONEY.

 

If the machine is momentarily powering on then shutting down, here is what you do. First do the power cycle down to completely shut down the machine (hold down the power button for 10 seconds. Actually you can probably skip this step since it isn't powering
on properly. Next unplug the power brick from the console and from the AC outlet on the wall. Also unplug ALL your USB devices you have plugged in - controllers, hard drives, hubs or power portals. Then wait for about 5 minutes after which you can plug in
the power brick (both to the console and wall). Now power on the console and let it boot up before you plug in any USB devices. This should bring it back to life.

I noticed similar behavior in mine several months ago and it typically occurred after an update was required for the One or certain games. But since I started following these steps, I was able to get out back up and running properly in no time. Believe me
I freaked the first time it happened, but once I discovered the USB devices was preventing the system from booting up I don't sweat it anymore.
