Xbox One has white light but won't turn on

I've tried everything, pulled out brick on both sides after 10 second reset, wait 30 seconds and turn on. After about 10-15 times, the console may have just turned itself on fine and works, but the next day it starts all over again. IT IS PLUGGED DIRECTLY
INTO WALL SOCKET AND HAS PLENTY OF POWER, THE POWER BRICK IS WHITE!!! It is 3 months old. White light will turn on, but nothing on the display. Yes, I did the display 5 second reset thing many times. Worked fine until about a month ago. It's a new console.
Why is it not working? I baby this thing and rarely play it, why all of a sudden has it stopped working? Should I send it in?

Xbox One controller won't turn on

So I got this Xbox One custom controller white front black back black and white buttons well about 4 months after buying it it stopped working so I hooked it via USB to the Xbox and held the back and start buttons and the light on it flashed and went black
and the light still won't turn on but it works buy only wired unplugged through battery it won't turn on please if there is any way to fix this please tell me.

 

Xbox One Won't Turn On, Makes Power On Noise and Briefly Lights Up

Just as the title says. My Xbox One won't turn on. The power brick is orange and then briefly turns white when I press the emblem button. It makes the power on noise and briefly lights up, but then nothing. Please help!

Sorry you're having issue with your Xbox sending a display signal. When it's on do you hear any audio if you move your controller around? I would also try another HDMI cable to see if that perhaps is the culprit. Do you have another port on your television
to test? If you've changed cables and ports, the next step would be to try another TV. If this happens on another TV with 2 sets of cables, then let us know so we can figure out the next steps for you. Also..... you mentioned in your other post that you did
the reset on your display settings. Did you actually hear the beep? Please let us know that as well

 

The controller won't connect unless the console turns on. The console shows white, but it doesn't show on the screen or allows the controller to connect. A few times I've let it run for 15 minutes just to see if it needs time to boot up. As I mentioned,
after a few times of resetting it will startup, but it can take half an hour.

It always makes the right sounds, the ding occurs when I hold the power and eject symbol. I touch the white logo when it's on and it makes the power down sound (but never turns off). I touch it to turn it on and it makes the power on sound, all things show
white but it seems to not startup. It can't be a display issue because it displayed fine before and every 10 to 15 times I do rest it, it starts up fine.

 

Oh, I changed the cable several times, but of the three cables I've used the issues remain the same. The hdmi cables work fine on the ps4 and wii u. It's the Xbox that doesn't seem to startup anymore.

Yesterday I switched it to another 1080p tv, but the process remains the same. 10-15 resets before it effectively turns on. When I do get it on, is there a setting I can change that will stop these issues? I turned auto updates off yesterday. Thought that
might help (maybe the system is syncing???).

 

There's two ports on the tv. I've switched it to one and then the other. The tv works fine, it's the Xbox hardware. I've been at this over a couple weeks trying to fix it. Any settings I can change so that it works normal like it did a month ago?

 

Hi Dogpigfish In settings/display and sound is tv connection set to auto connect, Have you ticked the allow 50HZ.

 

There are more and more people having this issue. None of what they tell you will work. I'm waiting for them to honestly address the issue.

 

I tried switching the 50 hertz thing on and off a couple days ago. That won't resolve the issue. I've switched the tv again, but Xbox runs but never displays on the tv. Does this have to do with an update or something? Why did it go from working to doing
all this crazy stuff? The wife is livid. Does anybody care?

 

Probably not the resolution I was hoping for, but when I switch the console to 720p, it works. Printed my shipping label, but then after 15 resets it worked again. Once switched to 720p the console started working again. It seems that's the resolution since
their recent updates. Hopefully they'll get that fixed in the future, but I can care less as long as it turns on and the wife is happy. Tried turning it on and off and it seems to have resolved itself. The controller works again. This all seems so crazy. Thanks

Lasted about a day and now back to doing what it was doing again. Can't get the thing to start. My guess is this was all part of the recent update. Can anyone else confirm? Why can't they diagnose these problems over the Internet? Either way, I'll be sending
in my new console for repairs. For as much time I wasted I really hope they make amends.
