    My Xbox has always had an issue booting up from the off position. It seems like everytime I have to download a game update or a console update that it freezes and then I have issues starting the xbox back up. I've gone through all the power supply checks
    and cleared my blu-ray disc persistent memory. I was chatting with somebody from support last night but couldn't figure it out. I really dont want to have to sen dit out to be repaired as I'm off the next 2 1/2 weeks and was looking to do a lot of gaming.
    Anybody have any ideas of what to try next?

    Xbox one keeps freezing when i try to sign in

    Today i was playing on and my kinect wasn't picking up my voice, so i decided to trouble shoot it and when it was checking for background noise it was in that screen for 10 minutes. I shut down my xbox and decide to reboot and now it gets frozen in the initial
    screen where to sign in or it actually lets me try to sign in but then freezes there.

    any help with this or what is causing this?

    I have tried booting up by hold eject and power already and that is when it freezes at sign in.

    Dashboard is not accessible.

    Last week, I was playing FIFA 13 on my xbox 360 slim 4GB system and then decided to go get something to eat. When I came back and turned on my system it wanted to install an update, so i downloaded it, but once it restarted, the console just sat on the
    xbox 360 logo loading screen(it didnt freeze, because the ball was still rotating/changing colors). I then tried putting in my new 120GB harddrive that i had just bought. The console made it past the xbox 360 screen, but it still does the same thing on the
    screen with the two spinning white circles. The weird thing is I can press the home button on the controller and it brings up the menu, but if i try to press ANYTHING, it freezes. I have never had any kind of issue, but the warranty ran out about a month ago.

    Any ideas?

    What i have tried:

    --unplugging/replugging--booting up while holding sync button--disconnecting wireless modem and booting up--booting straight into a game--

    But nothing has worked.

    I have had it freeze on me normally a reinstall of the game or a console power cycle does fix it for the xbox one. But PC has a different trouble shooter all together.

    • Does it freeze/lock-up
    • Does it black screen
    • Is there any splash screen that pops-up when you try to start it
