Xbox one has been freezing up

I have had it since lauch (not a day one though) never have had any problem. Now over the last 3 weeks multiple games have been freezing up , I have had to power down then restart system. This happened today with a brand new disc Froza Horizan 2 (which
is great with tx wheel) & a Digital download of Madden '15. Anyone have any ideas or suggestions ? This happens atleast once everytime system is used could be 10mins in or 40 doesn't matter it seems to happen .

Xbox start up problems

my Xbox has been freezing a lot recently. Also it has been freezing on start up, have factory reset it twice, still same problem. Any fixes ?

Xbox One not Responding

My Xbox One has been freezing non stop and since the friends list has been down I have not been able to get it to work at all. When I hard reset it hangs on the green start up screen. Any suggestions?

Dont own a X1, But I have seen other threads where the community suggests doing a hard reboot by holding down the power button for 10 seconds or so. So ya might want to try that.

Yes a hard reboot works for short term , but its not a solution. If anyone has an idead why this is happing or a fix please let me know.

Mine did the same, until it ultimately failed. It is off for repair as we speak (type).

I found that since I disabled the instant on and resume features the games have been much more stable. So basically I fully shut down the system and go back to the old 360 way of updates/power on-off.

The instant on and patching is nice but the memory seems to get gunked up too often for some games.

I have not had a lot of problems with my Xbox One. There has been times where YouTube would freeze up and I wouldn't be able to re-load it. But otherwise it's been a smooth process.

If your Xbox One is constantly freezing up, it may be a hardware issue.
