Xbox One hardware is "just fine",

Last I checked the Xbox 360 had sold more units for several years until last year the PS3 overtook the Xbox 360 in console sales. Not surprising with the announcements of the DRM policies with the Xbox One at the time. Alot of people were *** about it and
bought a PS3. Alot still have not forgiven and have stayed with Playstation. Personally I don't blame the people that have left it was a stupid move. Upsetting your customer base isn't the smartest thing to do.

:)

2. Xbox updates - Why is there not a better warning system?

Will do, just need to know one thing... I looked at the Categories, which would best suit the title "Better Xbox System Update Handling (Warning/Postpone)", since it has to do with updates... "Console Hardware & Accessories" since it affects the hardware,
or "Home, Xbox Guide & Settings", or which would you recommend? There isn't really one that suits it that well that I see.

My Halo 5 edition is getting the same error, so I don't think it is console specific.

The XB1 is fine. Though it could of been better. How much did Microsoft say they blew on designing a new controller? $100million? could they not of used that money on maybe a better GPU? But yer XB1 is fine.

6. I own both consoles , a few weeks ago , I was called a Sony troll ... because I favoured Sony 51/49 .

My opinion is now ... I favour M/s 52/48 ....... I must be a M/s fanboy ...lolz.

Anyway , my point is ... both consoles are good , and each have +/- ..

But if you put a gun to my head ,,,,,.... I would say the Snes is better than the megadrive , because it has ...mode7 .....endof.

7. I finally hooked up my Xbox 360 into the same room as my Xbox One the other day and got it running online and I gotta say that having both run side by side at the same time, there is an incredibly noticeable difference heavily in favor of the One regarding
the speed of access and startup. Xbox One hardware is "just fine", ;)

"the ps3 was more powerfull it was just a pita to work with due to cell and dedicated ram(hi Bethesda games), look at the end of gen games though compared to what the 360 had."

I always wondered about the PS3 being more powerful. All the people I know personally in game development seemed to think differently. GPU was better in the 360. The unified ram was a better setup. And the Cell's power was more on paper which it really
only worked out to being slightly better than 360. Well, unless you were very specific with tasks you were doing. Did not work for gaming that way. That is why we would see games function better on 360 even late in the console cycle. And that GPU power
bit was why PS3 games tended to focus on, say, the character resolution while some of the other stuff was not as detailed. Seemed to work because many games were considered graphically superior on PS3 when the details were actually less. One certain game
had plastic looking plants, less detailed walls, and some worse overall textures only to be considered one of the best of this last generation because they used the power on the character models and focused on that.
Vgchart have proven to be very accurate
No, they haven't. VG Chartz retroactively edits their data to match other sources.
PR using numbers the unwashed masses accept
as fact? Say it ain't so!

VG Chartz is ten people who guess at things. They then post "estimates" with an accuracy that cannot be accounted for using the little data they have to work with (NPD and a few other actual research firms).

As of now, the only data we have that reliably shows how the Xbox One is doing is Microsoft's own information. VG Chartz data is a sensationalized guess designed to generate pageviews.

12. RPG needed

I bought a 5 port powered HDMI switcher, 360, XB1, WiiU, PS3 and PS4 all ready to go. Even played some MW2 on the 360, I'm going to sound old but let face it, waaaaaaaaaaaaay better then ghosts on any platform. It's too early to ditch the 360 imo, make the
most of it.

I try to make the most of it, RedEye, but the appeal of the Xbox One and what it offers just makes it so hard! ><

14. After getting the PS4, the xbox one is not even worth 200 bucks. Some of the features that were promised weren't available on day one (TV guide in Canada), kinect doesn't work that well. I even think the touted cloud technology Microsoft keep on yapping
about is useless.

15. Hmm just had a look at this thread for the first time since last night, did it turn into a flame war or something? As my post has disappeared or is it just the usual censorship.
