xbox one hardware failure rate ?

Unless an independant organisation which has axcess to all service records and makes them public. no one will know how good, or bad the X1 failure rate actually is.

The best people can do is post on these forums the problems they are having so that ohers can then know what issues certain consoles/devises are having.

Case in point. If the EU courts (forget about US courts, for in America suing A company too big to fail is a No NO.) hadnt held M feet to the fire. The RROD would likely still be plaguing the xbox 360, and upgrading a PC HDD would still require the purchasing
of another opperating system, even if the New OS was exactely the same as the old one.

 

Xb1 Day 1, Wii U Day 1, PS4 Day 1. All 3 have performed extremely well. The XB1 stands out as mine barely produces warmth. This is a real leap ahead from last gen.

 

@wild sony are dropping i have two sony experia z1s and there pretty much useless check out there forums for phones alot of complaints.so there not that good

electronics used to be built to last. Today they are built to fail. If the mass consumer is the target, it's garbage. Garbage is now the norm, which is why faulty devices are so easily accepted. In the case of the 360, If there was an award for the most
faulty electronic device ever released to the public, it would have won that award. That was just bad engineering altogether.

 

Yes absolutely spot on Truth at least some gamers on here have common sense and know what they talking about. Today it's all about profit and how much you can make. Even the brand new I Phone 6, there was reports that the device was bending in peoples
pockets. Majority of most companies are guilty of using cheap labor to build their products.

Samsung seem to be the only ones exempt from it all. Someone earlier said Phillips was part responsible for Blue Ray not the case they was part of the family. Sony was more involved then anyone, the 360 was built at Foxconn the same company that some fanboys
on here have used to slag of Sony.

The PS3 also might be a better Blue Ray player then PS4 and XBOne. Both consoles was rushed to the market to capitolize .

 

I've had my console since January and it's still working good.

 

i went through 4 360s in the lifespan of the console, but the design improved over time - the elite was ok but the slim was brilliant. I also lost 2 PS3s before giving up on it but hey ho - all were replaced and i just moved on.

My X1 has been great thus far and im very happy.

I love the Xbox Brand and after having gone through two Original Xbox (2 Defective DVD Drives) consoles and six Xbox 360 (4 RROD and 2 Defective DVD Drives) consoles; I am still here with the Xbox Brand

I purchased an Xbox one earlier this month. It started turning off unexpectedly for a short time and then subsequently died. I sent it out for service and got it back yesterday. Today it died again. I'm now replacing the console with a different one.
So my failure rate is 100% so far. I've owned an Xbox for about a month and was able to play it on two different days. I hope the replacement fairs better.

 

Day One owner here Still going strong with no problems Console or the Kinect. Just unlucky. I know someone who had your issue happen once @super and was replaced and hasn't happened again.

 

Thanks @Rippen, yeah I hope I just got a lemon. The last console I owned was a Sega Genesis so it's been awhile. I last played my brother's Xbox around 2006 (I think). From what I saw (6 or 7 hrs), I found the Xbox one system to be really versatile. I
liked the features, kind of like Windows 8. I liked the OneGuide. The music synced right up with my existing stuff. I used the Kinect for Dance Central, very cool. The voice command and snap feature is cool too. I only ask that the thing turns back on
for me after it teases me for day ;-D

 

I thought I had an issue with mine, but it turned out the power cable into the power brick was loose and intermittently cutting power. I find that the cable doesn't sit securely and can come out very easy.

 

I bought mine November 29th 2013 still runs great!!! Kinect died about 7 months ago and MS replaced it. Kinect is still working. I'm very happy with the XB1.
