Xbox One 'Hardcore' Controller Rumoured

Apologies if this has been posted in another thread.

Rumours emanating from GDC suggest that Microsoft could be planning a new 'hardcore' Xbox One controller, tailored for racing games and shooters. Bearing in mind that the existing Xbox One controller boasted over 40 improvements over the Xbox 360 one, we're
wondering what could be added to it to make it 'hardcore'.

Microsoft and it's glorious Xbox will forever triumph over sony! Even the rumoured 720 shall crush the playstation 4. Though let's hope, as is rumoured, that there will be two 720 console versions... hardcore and casual, instead of just producing a watered
down, wii-like Xbox that isn't fit for gaming.

If it comes with white gloves and a glow stick that would ensure "hardcore" status for those who know the score.

Like the article says, hard to know what they can actually add to it, providing of course this is true.

I mean for me personally the XB1 controller is the best I've ever used. So comfortable with my big clumsy hands and the rumble triggers on games like Forza 5 is fantastic!

 

I just want that solid feeling I got from the 360 controller, all it needs is 4 torx screws in the back.

 

Yop,hard to see what they can improve but i thought the same about Xbox 360 controller and then "Blaaammm!!! Xbox one controller...

They did variants on the 360 didn't they? I remember a official green controller with a proper "+"-shaped d-pad on it. I think it was for a football game, but was better suited to fighters. They could do limited runs with a different design on X1. I doubt
it'll be available continuously though... otherwise nobody would want what isn't, but what would become termed the "casual" controller. =[

Yeah you've gotta be hardcore to qualify for that gear though... like . {XD

 

A built in mic for voice comands for people without kinect. That would be an improvement. Other than that I think the controller is still the best one.
