    • Look i heard from friend of mine to try hard reboot to fix my issue can someone explain why my console keep shutting down only when i put a game in????

    Is my console faulty or my Power supply has run it course need a new one?

    Xbox One Summer 2016 update preview

    Mine did this locked out of using the guide button at all, can't hit home or anything, and can't shut controller or console off without a hard reboot to fix the issue. That's a lame bug, not sure how i report that one, i can only report it after the hard reboot so it's getting that info and not the other info.

    My Xbox one console keep shutting down everytime I play game

    I having problem with my console keep shutting down itself when I play game. It working just fine when Im watching Netflix etc. But everytime I play game, I could play about 5 to 10 minutes then I shut down itself. Anyone know how to fix this problem?

    it seem i am going place order for xbox one power supply now seem if it will work well if not i am going to buy new console send that one to be repair

    I was having this exact problem. Did a hard reboot of the console (hold power down until it shuts off), and that fixed it. I will also be giving both companies a call for compensation.

    Okay.. I figured out what is causing the reboot issue in terms of hardware. The official Xbox One Play and Charge kit. Since I got my Xbox One I noticed that if I shut down my Xbox, and then plugged in my controller to charge the Xbox would turn back on.
    So to work around this solution I figured it would be better to plug in the controller to charge before I shut down.. so it would not reboot. However I didn't put the two together, as it seems the system reboots BECAUSE of the play and charge kit.

    Last night I was playing a game, and I shut down the Xbox One by saying Xbox Turn Off. The system stayed off. So I plugged it in to charge and of course the system turned back on. So to test a theory, I removed the play and charge battery and just used the
    Xbox on a wired USB connection. I unplugged and replugged it to be sure. Then shut the Xbox off and it DID NOT reboot. I shut all the system various ways and it would not reboot.

    I inserted a second play and charge battery and attempted a shut down again. The reboot issue occurs. For some reason with the play and charge kit attached to the system via USB cable. The Xbox One reboots once after shut down. That IS what is causing the
    issue. I have tried two kits and two cables on various ports and the problem still happens. Does not happen unless the USB charge cable is attached to the Xbox One.

    Now if I can find a fix I will be happy.
