If it's an external HDD, you can hook it up after they update the console to allow for external storage but until then, nope. If you're attempting to actually put said HDD INTO your console, then see D33dles post above.

I dont see why MS didnt make it like the Ps3/Ps4 where it just used a regular SATA drive that was easily replaceable hell even the xbox 360 slim will take regular sata drives if you put it in the casing.
So today i went to Best Buy and i bought a 4TB Hard Drive, because some of my friend did the same things and they figured it was replaceable
What, an external USB 4TB HDD?

There is no internal 2.5" 4TB HDD available in the market. The Xbox One uses a 2.5" HDD. You aren't going to be able to cram a 3.5" 4TB HDD into the case.
System Tampering is a bannable offense.
If your friend told you jumping off a bridge onto a dry riverbed below was ok, would you do it?
TESO won't arrive until June. Microsoft is making regular updates to Xbox One software.
There
is no Microsoft-sanctioned method available to increase the HDD space on the Xbox One at this time. Wait patiently for external storage support.
I dont see why MS didnt make it like the Ps3/Ps4 where it just used a regular SATA drive
that was easily replaceable
Would you prefer a HDD that cannot be backed up and a system that cannot support more than one storage device, or a system that supports an external storage device over USB of any size?

7. Then Xbox One is stupid, i only have 7 games and i don't have any place for an other game, digital games is such a bad idea, its a waste of money i wont buy a new Xbox One consoles only for a bigger hardrive, microsofg should have put this since the start,
if i remove all my games i only have 340Gb left! What take so much place? If microsoft dont allow to replace the hardrive ima go with Playstation they allow it and at least i will be able to play more than 7 games without deleting it !

Xbox One Hard Drive.
Then Xbox One is stupid
It's a system built for a demographic. That demographic didn't buy all 30+ games available for the console at launch.
First
you say you have 50GB free, now you say you have no space. Which is it? 50GB is anywhere from 1-10 more games depending on the games installed.
No one is suggesting that. MS has said
external USB HDD support is coming.
Why, so you can spend $100 for another 500GB of space? The going rate for a 1TB 2.5" 9.5mm HDD is $70 to $100. And then when you use up
the extra 465GB of space that nets you, then what?

Your argument makes little sense. MS is bringing USB HDD support to Xbox One. Sony is not bringing said support to the PS4 AND they don't allow one to back up the system. That means when 2TB 9.5mm HDDs finally become available (they aren't in the retail
channel yet) you'll have to reinstall all of your titles all over again.

If you want direct control over the space available on your gaming platform,
buy a PC
. I have over 3.5TB of SSD storage space on my gaming PC and control over where games are installed. I can augment that at any time.

9. Sony HDD is an internal HDD and they said they will bring it at the end of 2014,

External HDD is gonn be so bad for a console, it will run very slowly,

50Gb = 1 to 10 games? My battlefield 4 take 40GB and my other games take over 25GB,

Can't wait to see Elder Scrolls Online i will need to delete some games? And what if i wanna replay the game? Delete ESO again and re install the game? It make things so complicated for nothing, Microsoft should have known from the start that digital games
will use all the storage place, i wouldn't have cared to pay more at this time, but i wont buy a new Xbox One of a External HDD for this, the 320GB on 360 cost $160? 1Tb+ will cost what? $200-300? I can buy a 4TB one at this price, and microsoft shouldn't
consider it as "hacking" it make people play more games on the Xbox One more game to play = more people, if no have can't play new games because of Storage lack, they will go with something better, i've been with Xbox all this time, but now im disappointed.

10. Well you can't replace the internal HDD on the One. The only thing you can do is use an external USB HDD for storage, but I don't know if they've enabled that function yet. You may have to sit tight for a little while.

You can replace the HD inside the One.

I've already opened mine up to take a look at how difficult it would be and there are several videos on YouTube showing the process. If your familiar with PC upgrades it'll be an easy process but I wouldn't recommend it for the non-tech savy.

As far as bans go....I can't see any reason for a ban simply because you are upgrading your console but I guess you run that risk. When I need the space I'll be replacing mine and if they choose to ban me they'll lose a customer.

12. Well, it was nice knowing you, Randver.

Everyone seems to love car analogies around here, so here's mine: just because you can put illegal parts into a car to make it better or go faster, doesn't mean that you should. Xbox One Hard Drive. ;)
Sony HDD is an internal HDD and they said they will bring it at the end of 2014,
What, Sony said they'd add external HDD support? Provide a link to that information.
No, it won't run slowly. I did an SSD to SSD transfer using a USB 3.0 to SATA adapter. The transfer ran at over 100MB/sec. Slowness is inherent with a platter design. USB 3.0 is not slow in and of itself.
That depends on the game.
Funny, a whole bunch of people whined and said they wouldn't
be going digital.
MS has made no mention that the USB HDD will be proprietary. There is no reason to believe
it will be.
Not that will fit in the console.
They consider any act which involves opening the console or controller to be System Tampering. Read
the Terms of Use.

Don't know of any illegal car parts that you can put in a car, unless you have stolen them or they do not comply with government regulations due to emission's.

if you like the car then you should, it could be a great looking car but just not fast enough, so if the opportunity comes along to have a bigger engine then why not?

It voids the warranty, but that's probably about it. Whether it's actually compatible I don't know, but it can be replaced, there are even instructions on YouTube. But as said, it will void warranty.
