    Xbox One hangs when switching between games


    I have an Xbox One that is still just about under warranty.

    A few weeks ago it got stuck on the green screen after I turned the console on. After trying a few times with the same problem, I eventually performed a factory reset. This resolved this issue, but the console is still not working as well as it used to.
    The main problem is that it hangs when switching between games. If I am playing one game, and then want to switch to a different game, the second game will not start. I have to turn off the console, wait for a little while, and then restart it in order to
    play a different game.

    There is still lots of storage space on the console.

    Does anyone have any suggestions?

    Thanks for the response, but switching between my 360 and the Xbox One I've managed to finish the game, so I'm unlikely to try that now. It did repeatedly hang in another area which I also submitted feedback for - when trying to open the coffin in the crypt
    on scabb island. I did wonder if it might be a dodgy data file, but that would have been a first, so didn't fancy trying that for it to just fail again.

    Play anywhere games are only between Xbox one X and PC. if you want to play on the switch you will have to purchase it for the switch.

    He likely switched games while it is saving, most games will start up with some kind of message that will say to look for a certain icon because that’s when the game is saving

    The auto switch to Wired is normal when the wired connection is detected. Is it switching itself between wireless and wired? Is anything else between the Xbox and the router on the wired connection? Network switch, hub, ethernet over power adapter, etc?
