    Xbox One Hangs on boot screen


    I came home from work today, and went to play my X1, and it sat on the XBOX ONE green screen, for hours. doing nothing. anyone got any ideas as to what i can do? or is it dead? i really am not looking forward to having to replace it with titanfall coming
    next week!

    XBOX One Screen Freezing

    I got a new XBOX One for Christmas and set it up today. The machine is freezing on the home screen and I cannot get it to respond. I have done a few cold boots and left the box off for a while but it continues to just hang. Any suggestions?

    Hi,

    Do you have any peripherals attached (Kinect, ext HDD) if you have try removing those and rebooting.

    Do give it some time to boot if it hangs on the black or green screen.

    You probably already tried this, but if not with it hung on green screen, press and hold power button for 8-10 seconds until it powers down. Wait 30 seconds, then press again. Hopefully this gets it back up for you.

    I had an issue when I booted up my One last night with games hanging on the loading screen. A hard reset sorted it out quick smart.
