XBOX One GWG issue - Your purchase cannot be completed at this time. Please try again.

Hello dear Xbox community,

I have a valid Live account untli December 2016, but I cannot purchase the free Xbox 360 games, now for example, Deus Ex. I always receive the message "Your purchase cannot be completed at this time. Please try again." Until now I was able to download two
free games, Dirt 3 and Sacred 3. For all the other free 360 GWG games, it's not working. I have tried all options: from the browser (Chrome, IE), from the smartphone and from Xbox One's Edge.

Also, I was able to buy in the marketplace Witcher 2, but it's not in "My games" list on the Xbox One.

GWG Hitman Blood Money won't download to Xbox One

I've been a member for years and never had an issue getting GWG.

I own an Xbox One and have successfully downloaded the 2 xbox one GWG. It refuses to download Hitman.

I've tried numerous times through a PC and get this error:

Sorry

Your purchase cannot be completed at this time. Please try again.

 

error when trying to purchase Mirror's Edge games with gold

Same issue here:"Sorry. Your purchase cannot be completed at this time. Please try again."

Tried on PC and Xbox One.

 

Try deleting your profile and reinstalling, this should cause your purchases to show up in the ready to download section. Log out your profile on the browser.restart the browser sign back in and try to make the purchases. Let me know your results.

Unfortunately it's not working, same beautiful message... I have used a prepaid card for my Live Gold membership, but i do not think it's relevant.

All Xbox One Games with Gold stuff I can access without a problem. It's sad, that I cannot acces the free 360 games.

 

Try using the 360 version smart glass to make the purchase.

 

I have the same issue. I tried to get the XBOX 360 titles using Edge on my Windows 10 tablet, I tried with Chrome, I tried from my Windows 10 Mobile phone, I tried from the browser on the XBox One console. Each time I get the message noted above. I also
tried changing my profile's region and adding another credit card so now I have a USA and Swiss credit card.

I suspect there is something broken in the regional settings in the XBox 360 market. The issue does not impact XBox One purchases which is likely a different backend store.

Smart Glass does not work. It will redirect you to the Xbox One. I am a little bit disapointed...

 

I'm also having this issue currently with Sacred Citadel. I spoke to Microsoft Chat who was adamant that "after the November 1st update 360 games must be purchased on an xbox 360, since you have to buy it using your profile".

(I'm doubtful how informed they were though, they kept telling me that it's a 360 game and I'm on Xbox One, had to link the backwards compatibility list to move past that).

Your account region must match your billing option

So having a Swiss credit card on a us account won't work

You are causing a split billing issue you must fix it with a region migration tool

To download the majority of games you guys mentioned your account region and actual region and billing region must match @saunderFor split billing issue you must contact support to help fix it

 

Basically you have to use the region migration tool to migrate to your actual region and add the correct billing option

Plus set your xbox one console region correctly or you will have another split billing option

 

For xbox 360 games even free ones you must have a valid payment option on file with the appropriate billing address to your account region and physical region

And yes most of the 360 games you mentioned do check the account region against the physical region anything m rated triple a titles
