    Xbox One guide not changing the channels on Comcast X1


    Hello everyone, Here's my set up: Xbox One Sunset Overdrive without Kinect, IR blaster plugged in the back of the Xbox One, Comcast X1 platform cable box, **** cable box manufacturer, Model #MX011BNC Samsung plasma Tv. I can't get any of it to work. I have
    a picture but can't change the channels or turn off the tv. any help would be greatly appreciated! the remote code listed is C1982 for the cable box and T2051 on the tv.

    Need help setting up Xfinity X1 box with Xbox one

    Cable company is Comcast ( Xfinity X1 platform ) cable box is model # PR150BNM .. I have a tv signal and the one guide works just can't change channels with voice or xbox one controller. . Any suggestions? ? Thanks

    Comcast HD channels gone from One Guide after September Update

    I'm in the SF Bay Area and have cable through Comcast. I've had the XBox One since day one and this is the first time I've had channels disappear/not show up. Both the regular channels listing and the favorites listing on the One Guide stop at channel 735.
    Meanwhile, my Comcast guide goes up to channel 1091. This problem occurred at err the recent September update. Please advise.

    Perfect, you have the Comcast X1.

    Set your STB brand=Comcast, Model=X1. It'll work fine to change channels.

    Same problem here. I have picture, guide works fine. Won't change channels.

    I can even bring up the Comcast guide using the Comcast remote, but will not change the channel.

    I too just upgraded to the Comcast X1 box. When I ran through the setup on the Xbox, I chose the manual selection and went with Comcast then X1. It seems to working for me as I'm able to change channels via Kinect. Hopefully this will work for ya or someone
    with more knowledge can lend a hand.

    Comcast X1 and Xbox One trouble

    Hey guys,

    The X1 and Xbox One do work together. There are a few ways to do it, one of which MaximumExtreme mentioned:

    1) Use Comcast as brand, say "No" to channel up 4 times and end up at C1982

    2) Manually enter Make=Comcast model=X1 (or XR2)

    3) Manually enter C1982 as the codeset
