XBOX ONE - GUIDE BUTTON & SOCIAL FEATURE/AACHIEVEMENTS

I have recently got an Xbox One to find that the new OS is less user friendly, no longer can I press the guide button to bring up my gamertag, messages, friends list, achievementS, this feature worked so well on Xbox 360, it was easy to navigate, reply
to message enter/leave parties and invite friends to games, compare achievements. It seems to do all these tasks now I have to got to a separate apps which isn't very user friendly and takes much longer. I'm also not that fond of the way the achievements are
displayed, I liked the list feature and now I can only see only a few achievements on my TV screen, which takes much longer to look through whilst i'm waiting to respawn or just paused the game for a minute. My question is, WHY WOULD YOU CHANGE SOMETHING THAT
    WORKED SO WELL?

PLEASE FELLOW XBOX ONE USERS EXPRESS YOUR THOUGHTS.

PLEASE MICROSOFT BRING THIS BACK OR SOME EQUIVALENT ALTERNATIVE.

    :)

  4. XBOX ONE - GUIDE BUTTON & SOCIAL FEATURE/AACHIEVEMENTS

MS know all this and the next update (due early March) addresses some of these issues.

I doubt we'll ever see the mini-guide again though...

Personally I'm not a fan of the whole windows8/apps setup either.

Doesn't bother me, I just use the voice controls, works easy enough.

The new OS is not "less user friendly".

You are simply not used to using it.

You'll get the hang of it but don't feel bad.

Many people here couldn't even figure out how to work Party Chat.

XBOX ONE - GUIDE BUTTON & SOCIAL FEATURE/AACHIEVEMENTS

I agree that the loss of the Guide Button's many features is probably my biggest disappointment with the new operating system. Not being able to quickly bring up messages, friends and Achievements feels like a step backwards, especially given it was probably
the thing I used most on the 360.

But future updates may alter this, for better or worse.
