    Disk Drive Not Reading

    Hi occasionally my disk drive dose not read my Xbox One Game disk and or makes a grinding sound almost.

    This has been happening for a while and has only gotten more common

    One of the only way that i can fix it is to put a CD or other disk in.

    By the time I wanted to buy a warranty for it It was too late

    I'm not able to get any games on disk. My disk drive stopped reading disks after my warranty expired. Haven't been able to play hard disks in over a year. Paid 450 bucks for a slim, and it was a waste tbh.

    I have to agree that the disk drives in the Xbox one are total crap, my prob is I put a disk in and it sounds like its grinding and it won't read, I have to put it in at least 5 time for it to read. I'm eventually gonna have to send mines it before the warranty
    expires.

    your problem is your disk reading lazer is going out check your warranty because you'll need to send it in. if your warranty has expired you can renew it for 25$ on xbox.com

    Disc grinding/poor service

    When first purchased everyone has a limited time to purchase an extended warranty from support for the console. After that time the standard one year warranty applies to all.

    After the warranty has expired then repairs must be paid for as is standard with all products from all companies.

    There are no places to repair the controller after the warranty has expired. It would probably cost more to get it repaired than to purchase a new one.
