heLLo i have problem whit download games from xbox live gold. its game is grid 2 what you put today to this store. when i try to download he wants my account number. i gived him evryhithing and when is finisch transaction i have error and they say "we can
finisch now. try again later" i have this error all day.. why ? more people cant downloading now grid 2 becose have that same problem what me... can you help me ? a and its never mind i try to download in my consol or i try download in website...

Same problem as you! Can't download Grid 2, and I get the same error message. I'm gonna try to contact support...

Its not helping i try to buy download game from the website its that same error today i try check couple times and evrytime i have error when i mist wait or try again later. I know my friends in other countries they have this problem too

People tend to use the us to get us content

The region locks work like this

Account region and actual region and console region has to match

So us account France actual region and us console region won't work

I have this same problem: I am not allowed to download SOME free games. I was able to get "The Wolf Among Us", but when I try to get "GRID", the system wants my credit card info. I don't see why I need a credit card for a FREE game. This is not the first
month that I've experienced this exact same problem.

That is because the Xbox One and Xbox 360 use different marketplaces. The backwards compatible games still use a marketplace similar to Xbox.com which does not see the game as FREE, but as $0.00. Therefore, you must have a payment method on file to "purchase"
the $0.00 game.

How is it.. that I can download 2 xbox 1 games every month.. but when grid 2 finally comes with backward compatibility. I can't Down load it cause I haven't put in my credit card details..it bothers me because I have had a similar issue trying to download
previous xbox 360 games on my xbox 1. I can show price and see that it is free.. but when I want to confirm.. without a billing address I can't purchase it.. it's absolute nonsense.

Please try to fix it!

 

As the previous poster mentioned two different marketplaces

It is also two different requirements

First and foremost you must have a payment option on file on the xbox 360 marketplace free or paid content if you don't have a 360 console

It isnt free it is considered a 0.00 dollar purchase meaning you still need to make a transaction
