Xbox One green veritcal lines Need Help

The xbox displays properly on a Samsung 32" 1080p TV

However I purchased a new tv 55 LG. 55LA7400-UD.

This is my issue:

I have tried all these settings with the same issue.

Auto-Detect displays this

1080P displays this (same as auto-detect)

Imgur: The magic of the Internet

720P displays this

Imgur: The magic of the Internet

600x400 Displays This:

Imgur: The magic of the Internet

The TV works fine with hdmi from set top box.

But when i use HDMI from TV its needs to be a custom resolution @60 hz.

Is there anyway to set a custom resolution on the xbox one? It only has a 50hz and 24hz option.

Also, are you noticing any specific error code/message when this occurs? Happen to notice this issue when you try using a different HDMI port?

I'm getting green limes across the screen on an Xbox that is only 4 months old, anyone any idea what it is please?

Hey there,

The 50Hz and 24Hz options only affect Blu-Ray and TV, they don't affect the dashboard or games at all. So I wouldn't think that that is the issue. Have you tried changing ports and cables. Could be a dodgy one of those. Esspecially if the console works fine
on other TV's.

I have tried different cables and port on the TV still no avail. When I use my PC from HDMI it the only resolution that works is 1920x1080 @ 60Hz. Any smaller resolutions and I get the same issue with the xbox.

Is there anyway to change the xbox resolution other than the default options?

think of it like cell towers triangulating a cell phone position. You set down two pivots originally the game will then draw a line between those and one side of the line will turn green the pivot your looking for will be on the green side. you then head
in to the green side and set down a third pivot to create a series of sectors on the map. the pivot will be in the center of the green sector. They are set up in random locations so a videoguide will not help you as the location is decided by a real person
placing the pivot in there game. That is why you need to be connected to xboxlive to collect them all

It could be that your TV is too old that can't run your game

Check your HDMI cables output and your Console HDMI input and see if the gold connecter pins have been striped or corroded. If either are fine then can you tell what kind of TV have?
