Xbox one green screen when trying to watch videos

My Xbox one for some strange reason always displays a green screen when I attemt to watch any type of videos for example Netflix, Upload Studio, and even the Blu-ray player. I can hear the video playing but all I see is a blank green screen, please help

Hi! How can i fix the flashing green screen when watching videos on my xbox one x? My telly is fine on the settings everything is "green". I have no problems with the games, only when im playing some videos. For example in the store if i click on a game
to watch the trailer of it, the screen truns green. Pls help

 

Green Screen when trying to stream 4k videos from my PC to XBox One

I just recently purchased a 4K TV and when I try to stream a 4K video that's on my PC to my XBox One, all I get is sound and a green screen on my TV when I right-click the video and select Cast To Xbox One. Every video that isn't 4K works just fine, so
I'm just wondering how I would go about being able to play 4K video on my XBox One using the Movies and TV app that I have always used for every non-4K video.

 

Hi. Are you using a capture card or an AV receiver between your Xbox and your TV? It sounds like possibly an HDCP confrontation somewhere in your set-up.

 

I'm not using a capture card or an AV receiver, just the HDMI cable that came with my Xbox. Do you think it might be a problem with the cable itself or the xbox? I hope its not my tv because I just bought it a couple days ago, its a Sony Bravia 32 inch.
Any suggestions?

 

there's a chance it could be the cable, try another one and see.

 

Did you ever sort this problem out? Only asking as I have the exact same problem and have bought 2 new hdmi leads to test but they haven't worked =\
