    My xbox one stays on the screen that says hdmi for about 5 minutes and then goes to the green loading screen and stays there. please help.

    Permanent fix for Green Screen of Death?

    I have had the Green Screen of Death 3 times on my Xbox one and am getting tired of having to go through all the steps every time. Is there a permanent fix for the Green Screen of Death?

    Xbox one green screen of death?

    Sorry to hear it. Can you please try holding the power button on the console for 10 seconds until it shuts down then unplug everything from the console and let it sit for at least 5 minutes to see if that resolves the issue.

    Thanks for reaching out to us with this issue. Sorry to hear you're stuck on the green loading screen. That's never fun, but no worries! What we recommend is that you use our Xbox
    One System Update Solution     to troubleshoot the issue. It not unusual for the green loading screen to remain on the screen if something has happened during a recent update and this should get you back to normal.

    Give it a try and please let us know the results!
