    Xbox one green screen and makes clicking noise


    I recently had to factory reset my xbox because of the "green screen". It worked the first time. About a month later, the green screen is back. It also makes a clicking noise as well. Should i reset it again? Or send it in? Will they give me a brand new
    xbox?

    clicking noise and stuck on the green screen.

    my xbox one froze then started to make a clicking noise whilst stuck on the green boot up screen. contacted support and they told me to send it off for repair.. anybody else had the same problem?

    Online Service Center.

    The noise it makes is less than one second, you try to turn it on, but the green light doesnt appear, or anything in the screen, the sound comes from the xbox it self, not the TV.

    To help clarify the issue:

    • What Xbox console do you have?
    • When does the noise happen?
    • Does it happen when you play a disc game?
    • Is the console in a well-ventilated area?

    I have read quite a few articles with people stating the exact same issue, and it seems in every case to be something going on with the fan. It doesn't seem to be a detrimental issue but if you would like it serviced the best thing to do would be to send
    it in (as you well know). I hope this helps in the very least knowing this is a common "issue".
