Xbox One Gold membership doesn't work.

When I sign in, I have no access to my Gold membership. My last payment was on March 10th (and since today is March 7th, I should be good for another 3 days), but the Gold tile is always "Join up now for savings", or whatever the tile is for those who haven't
already paid for it.

So I got in touch with Support, and started a live chat. The rep had me sign in / out. Had me power off / on. Had me unplug / plugin. Then the rep saw that I had a pending charge marked for April 10th, and decided to charge me immediately to "fix the
problem." It didn't.

So I clicked around in account settings, and eventually just signed up again (which is seemingly the only option available to me). This resulted in yet another $9.99 fee, and yet......nope, still no access to Gold.

In short: Microsoft, I am repeatedly giving you $9.99 for your Gold service. Please hold up your end of the bargain.

1 Gold Account for the whole family

My son has a gold membership on his 360. I don't have a gold membership. If I add my son's profile to my new Xbox One, then it will give me gold membership as well?

 

Unfortunately, you will have to work with support on this account issue since no one in the forums has access to the information. Sometimes it does take a little while for everything to sync up but if I were you I would definitely get back in touch with
support. Good Luck!

Just following up on this: I got back on with chat support. They refunding my 2x $9.99 charges, then canceled my subscription. Then I resubscribed yet again, and this time I was able to see Gold deals in the Store. The Home screen still indicated that
I hadn't signed up for gold, though.

Fast-forward to today, where the Home screen reflects that I have Gold again. All is right with the world.

FYI: Gold trial worked yesterday, when I added it. Today it refused to work on Xbox One even though it said I had 1 month of gold on subscriptions page of Microsoft website.

Removing account, reboot, adding, logout/login several times did nothing. Xbox 360 said no gold either.

In the end the rep, during a chat session, had to cancel the month of gold and give me a code for another month, which worked a minute after I redeemed the code at xbox.com.
