    Xbox One Gold Membership Codes


    I've been having this problem all day with trying to put in a code for Xbox gold through the console. It comes up with saying I've got Xbox gold and should give my code to someone else and I know that I don't have gold. I've tried using
    www.xbox.com.au and the code works but I don't see Xbox gold activated on my console. Any help would be greatly appreciated Xbox One Gold Membership Codes :)

    My son has a gold membership on his 360. I don't have a gold membership. If I add my son's profile to my new Xbox One, then it will give me gold membership as well?

    are you trying to redeem a code shorter than 1m live Duration?

    it seems regulations have changed and profiles are only allowed to use one per lifetime now - just what i could imagine.

    Your gamercard shows that you have a Gold membership on the forums here. If you used the code on the website then it can take a while for the membership to populate your account. Please head over to Settings>Network and run a Network Test to see if that
    will speed it up for you.

    Sorry to hear that you're having issues with the membership, and that you paid for it. However, trial codes (that is what a 2 day code is) are not valid Gold memberships and only offer some features of a Gold membership.

    Unfortunately downloading the free Games With Gold is not one of the features that is available with a Trial membership. In order to download those you would need to purchase and apply a full Gold membership to your account.

    Does the Live code apply to a user or to the entire xbox?

    On the 360 Live membership is needed for each account. It is specific to the account that the code is applied to. On the Xbox One only one account needs to have paid membership for all users to access gold features.
