Xbox One Gold live trial problem

So I wanted to try out the Xbox multiplayer so I went and got Xbox Live gold trial for 1 month. Now the only game I have is Forza Horizon 3 and when I open it up and launch "online adventure" it says "You must have an Xbox live Gold membership to use this
feature", then I go and check it in my subscriptions it says I have it for 1 month, also I can download Xbox Live Gold games, I just can't join in any multiplayer games.

I tried recovering my account, clearing cache, turning it off and on but nothing helps.

Hopefully you guys could help me, thank you.

Xbox Live Gold 2 Days Trial does not work

Hello,

a few days ago, my xbox live gold subscription ran out and I thought I could use some of the 48 hours gold trials until I'll buy another month/year of xbox live gold.

I redeemed one of the trial codes and thought it would work (as it always did).

Now the problem is: My Xbox One still thinks, that I don't have Xbox Live Gold (When I try to go to Games for Gold it wants me to buy Gold)! The connections to xbox live servers still work. I did even wait one day to make sure there isn't any problem...

What can I do? Do the trials just work for specific games (for example the trial for Titanfall)??

that is why unable to get the backward compatible games. They will not work with the 14 day trial unfortunately. In this link

describing Xbox live gold there is a section explains the trials.

With an Xbox Live Gold 2- to 14-day trial, you can get Xbox One Games with Gold, and discounted Gold deals.

If it was a one month trial you could get the backward compatible games.

I don't know if anyone else already posted the solution to this, but a friend had the same issue with the same error. The problem was, he was trying to redeem a code over a trial gold. Live Gold and Gold Trial, doesn't mix up, that's why the solution is
to let the gold subsciption end and then redeem the code. So if you have a Live Gold and try to redeem a Trial code (like the one included with the xbox) or the other way around, it won't work.
