    I should follow up with, I've tried power cycling, unplugging, etc. I've reset my modem/router, even though that was for sure not the issue. I've let it sit at the screen for over an hour with no success as well. Mine is out of warranty, and I'm not sure
    I'm wanting to pay $125 to send it in for repair. if they're system update broke my machine and I have to pay to fix it, I'm going to either switch to PC gaming, or pick back up some of my other neglected hobbies.

    I was really hoping others were going to have had this same issue, but apparently I'm just unlucky that something messed up on mine.

    I am having same problem. Xbox one goes to black screen quickly after green screen. I have tried every single troubleshooting method provided by xbox.My warranty is up, nice timing microsoft. You just enjoy your billions while the rest of us little people
    are at your mercy. I was allready considering getting a PS4. Now my mind has been made up for me. Will cut my losses and get a PS4 asap.

    I'm not in the preview program, but there was an update available to me on 7/7/15. Yes I followed all steps in the help guides. As I stated in another thread on this subject, I was able to finally get the xbox to recognize the system restore file on a flash
    drive and reset it. Then I had to manually download the update on my computer, unzip to the flash drive, and load it on the xbox. now its working fine. Fortunately most of my data was saved on an external HDD.

    My xbox one s goes to green screen on start up and is slow, sometimes it will go to the home screen, but will not let me do anything else (games, apps,etc.). I have tried a soft reset and hard reset but it just goes blank then sometimes back to

    Thank you for you post and sorry to hear about the issues that you have been having, Firstly I would try a Power Cycle has sometimes this helps getting you console back to normal operation, the link below will guide you to how you can perform a Power Cycle.

    I would also keep the console off for 3-5 minutes before restarting again and then trouble shoot.

    You will need to contact support and explain what as happened and the steps taken to try and fix.

    Go to top of page to support in the dropdown choose xbox one.

    scroll to bottom of page choose contact us,

    then choose xbox one a list will show click on system issues.

    Then choose which contact type you want to use.
