Xbox one goes to green screen then blank screen!!!!!?

I've had an xbox one for a couple of months now I've had a few problems and even had to take it back once for a new console. The problem now started when I was playing destiny then I went to home screen and then the xbox froze, couldn't move. So I held down
the power button and turned it off. I turn it back on and it goes to green xbox screen then after a couple of seconds it goes blank and stays blank. I've tried everything. I take any suggestions just help me fix my problem.

Thank you for you post and sorry to hear about the issues that you have been having, Firstly I would try a Power Cycle has sometimes this helps getting you console back to normal operation, the link below will guide you to how you can perform a Power Cycle.

I have this same problem and have tried power cycling it several times to no avail. This problem has been occurring for 3 days now and I have failed to find a method of fixing it. Please let me know how to fix this.

 

I also have had the same problem and I tried all the suggestions on the forum about black screens while your consol is still on and they havented worked. I have put in a request for a repair because it is still covered by warranty but I was wondering if
there is anything else I could do before I send it in. I saw a post saying about downloading a update on the computer and binding it with my Xbox will this help by any chance. Also if I send my Xbox in for repairs and they ship me a knew one then will I lose
all my save files

 

All your saved game data are saved to the cloud so you should have no problems, ask support about the off line tool, it would give you the option to do a factory reset if the file part doesn't work.

 

Is this maybe a common issue? For me when i boot my xbox while in power saving mode it sits at the green screen but then goes to black for just under 2 full mins. This all started this week. It never took this long before.

You will need to contact support and explain what as happened and the steps taken to try and fix.

Go to top of page to support in the dropdown choose xbox one.

scroll to bottom of page choose contact us,

then choose xbox one a list will show click on system issues.

Then choose which contact type you want to use.

 

Same issue here, green screen, then blank. Power cycled several times. Switched HDMI ports, HDMI cables, on AVR, and also plugged directly into TV with different ports and cables. I see most of these posts are 3 months old. I'm curious what has happened
since then..

I would also keep the console off for 3-5 minutes before restarting again and then trouble shoot.

 

hi i need help i turn on the xbox today and it get stuck on the green screen load and i waited a lot someone help

 

My xbox one is also going to the green screen then goes to a blank black screen.... I'm thinking they botched this new update.... I've tried doing the update restore through the diagnostic tool, but I cant get the xbox to recognize I'm holding the bind and
eject when powering on, it just doesn't start to boot until I release them. then stuck at screen again.

Maybe they didn't have the latest updated OSUDT2 system files online. Then again, trying the factory restore file wasn't working either.....
