    Hello.

    I know that I have seen this issue mentioned before but I couldn't find any recent threads with new troubleshooting information. My XBoxOne was working perfectly until just recently. I am not sure if this is a result of any new updates or not. After the green splash screen, the TV display just goes dark and nothing else happens. The TV, HDMI cable, etc are all verified good. I have made sure that there is no disk inside as well. If I unplug the system for 15 seconds and plug back in, this behavior with the dark after green splash screen happens. Then if I just power off and power back on, the green splash screen doesn't even come up.

    What is the best way to troubleshoot this?

    Hi! My name is Pam. I'm an Independent Advisor and I'll be glad to help you today.

    So the first thing we need to do is check and see if you can bring up the Xbox Startup Troubleshooter. Try doing this for me:

    Power off your console, and then unplug the power cord to ensure that the console is completely powered off. Wait 30 seconds, and then plug the power cord back in. Press and hold the SYNC button (located on the left side of the console) and the EJECT button (located on the front of the console), and then press the Xbox button on the console. Continue holding the SYNC and EJECT buttons for 10-15 seconds. Listen for two “power-up” tones a couple of seconds apart. You can release the SYNC and EJECT buttons after the second power-up tone.

    When the console powers up, you will see the Xbox Startup Troubleshooter, let me know if you see it okay?

    Hi Pam.

    Thanks for the quick response. Yes, I do see a Troubleshoot screen after following your steps. The options on the screen are Continue, Reset this Xbox, Offline System Update, and Turn off this Xbox. I also see the OS version and Console ID in the bottom left corner. OS version ends in 210816-1740.
