Xbox One Glitchy after turning on from Shut down state.

The Xbox One (XB1) was working fine the night before, I played GTA 5 for a few hours and then went to bed and shut it down (I don’t have the auto update feature on, so when its off, its off) (Being part of the Preview group I want to know when updates are
happening) there was an update just a few nights ago that went successfully (I did not opt-out of the beta preview a few days ago so I’m just wondering if I got a bad update, anyway).

So when I turned the XB1 on today it took very long (2+mins) time at the Green logo with the 3 dots loading, once it finally loaded to the dashboard the very 1st thing I noticed was, “Connect to Live” was showing rather than the Games w/Gold promo.
Next was many of the “Tiles” were missing, then navigation around the Dashboard is near impossible, controls are sluggish or non-responsive. My 1st thought was to go to Setting an do Factory reset but it was taking several mins to load the side
bar, once loaded I am still unable to navigate down to the Setting button before Error 0x80070102 pops up an then the controls become unresponsive.

1 of 3 things happen, 1 = the system shut down the 1st time that error came up, 2 = it reboot an then I eventually was back at a very glitchy Dashboard where I remain still or 3 = I have to manually get up an hold the power button until the system
shuts down. I already tried shutting the system down unplugging all USB Cord, external HDD’s, the Kinect (all cables were removed from the system) and then after waiting over 30 mins and then only plugging the HDMI, ETHERNET & POWER with the exact same results
every time, still all glitchy. 1 time it actually auto jumped to the Checking for Updates screen (even though it still said “Connect to Live” on the side) but it found nothing an returned to the Dashboard on to have the same ERROR code popup again an then
have to hold the power button in on the system to shut down.



There is nothing else I can do to fix the issue beside go out an drop a few hundred dollars on a new system or wait (however long, Days? Weeks? Months? for a repair if it’s even possible, this absolutely sucks, my wife is totally bummed as she looks forward
to unwinding after work and just wants to play some Terraria or Netflix after everyone goes to bed & I’m very bummed because my guild in Elder Scroll Online relies on me for making weapons and armor amongst the few other games I regularly play, along with
games that have daily rewards like Gems of War that have in-app purchases that you have to collect each day. Bottom line this sucks, either way even if it gets fixed in a few weeks theres like 2-3 different subscriptions I’m going to need to cancel or put
on hold since we used the Xbox as the go to device for Hulu, Netflix, Crunchyroll, etc. Hopefully working together, we can rectify this issue as painless as possible & get us back on LIVE and happy Gold members again.

Kinect stops listening / External Hard Drive needs reseting

So this is a weird two in one issue.

Part 1:

On occasion, after successfully turning on my Xbox One with the Xbox On command, it will no longer hear voice commands of any sort. I noticed this behavior start the day Destiny came out, oddly enough. The only fix is to manually restart the system by holding
down the front power button until it fully shuts down.

Part 2:

Whenever I turn on the system from a fully powered down state, my external hard drive is not detected. The only fix is to unplug the drive from its power source and plug it back in. Then it is immediately recognized.

Anyone else having either of these problems?

 

Xbox one s keeps turning off after an hour

My Xbox one s keeps turning off after an hour I've been to settings and turned off 1 hour automatic shut down but still it keeps turning off I thought it my be over heating so I had it cleaned but no problems please help

 

found this post everything besides the WiFi issues.. I don't use the wifi only ETHERNET but otherwise all the other issues are spot on..

Console not working after new build

there is no way to sign out an get into the Setting menu to do a hard reset .. the system becomes unresponsive long before any menu generates.. Kinda seems like the only fix is with "In-House" tools or a new system replacement.. either way were SOL until

So everything is good.. after all usual steps with no success.. All i did was bootup the xbox one, an just do nothing.. I had only HDMI, POWER CABLE & ETHERNET.. even though it claimed I wasn't connected to LIVE, after about an hour (sorry i didn't keep
a stopwatch) but all i did was turn the system on an then changed the input an then just checked back after an hour an it was at the "Ready to Update" or stay offline screen an I just followed the reg steps an it updated, rebooted an now were back up an running..
for those wondering.. I have auto sign-in "On" but Auto-update is "Off" plus i don't use the wireless, only wired. Hope this helps anyone frustrated with borked preview updates. Game On!!
