XBox One glitch FIFA20, cursor gets stuck on the GK

I posted this in reply to someone else's similar question but the thread was locked down without it being resolved (no idea why!?)

This seems to happen with my 7yo son, so I suspect he’s pressing lots of buttons at once and then it is sticking somehow, but basically at some random point during a game the cursor will suddenly get stuck on the GK and we are unable to change it using the
usual buttons. We go into the menus and the settings and try everything, but we just can't 'unstick' it!

It's really affecting our ability to play and we often have to abandon games and just can't find any sort of solution.

Does anyone know what we can do?

It is often best to create your own question threads when having issues as if the original question has been answered, the thread will be locked and your question gets lost in the sea of responses.

From what you describe, it could possibly be an in game bug and a question worth posting on the Official EA Sports FIFA forum.

If there is an issue with the controller, check out this Xbox One Wireless Controller Solution support page.

Regarding glitches, my friend and I ran into a "Quest Screen Glitch" a couple of times now. The glitch causes you to get stuck on the "Quests Screen", and we haven't figured out a way to get out. The music will still play but you won't be able to exit or
move your cursors.

Well, it's obvious you *don't* have the right postcode, according to that pic. Perhaps I've missed something, but it just looks like a random string of numbers! The way the cursor is displayed kinda suggests that you need ANOTHER number... whenever I've
done online banking through my Xbox One, this 'glitch' happens if I'm trying to input a passcode while using my controller. The problem gets sorted once I connect my keyboard and the cursor can move freely again. So weird.

Same for me. Stuck on the do not exert your self. Tried uninstalling and installing and did not work. Keep try and my kenect went crazy. Xbox saying kenect is disconnected and then it reconnects. This is getting annoying.

Nothing but glitch after glitch on xbox one. Thinking about getting a ps4 soon.
