Xbox one giving everything is good message when I still do not have connection

I have had my xbox one for over a year and a half now and have been using it on xbox live the whole time. Recently my connection stared to become temperamental and I would have to restart my game/console a number of times to get it to connect for only a
short period of time. Now it has completely stopped connecting, whenever I test my network I get the message everything is good, and my Nat type comes up as open with all services available. However, my guide doesn't load and whenever I try to load a game,
it cannot retrieve my data and I can't join lobbies and get the no connection errors.... I have attempted multiple console/router resets and tried a static ip but to no avail.

    Any Advice/help would be appreciated

    :)

    status code 3f4b-0000-3080-0504-8007-0070

My sons xbox keeps giving this status code when connecting to xbox live. Connection tests show everything is fine until we reach the xbox live part then goes straight to this. I have reset everything many times, still nothing. 7days later I am still trying
to get an answer. I am not to knowledgeable on this system, would like any help I can get...Thank You

    Xbox Live Connection Issues

Thank Bimnog and Jamie you for your support and help but it still didn't work Xbox one giving everything is good message when I still do not have connection :( I tried the whole procedure as suggested by Bimnog but the problem prevails. This is what i'm encountering. My xbox live doesn't connect on its own, though i'm connected to
internet. Under network settings I do get this information: NAT type: Open, and All Services are Available. Yet when I test my connection it gives the message "Your network is good, but there are some xbox service issues". I do get connected to live after
I forget my network and add it again by giving password but this is a repeated procedure too, I have to do it so many times before i get the message "Everything is Good". And once i'm connected to live, i do not get disconnected. It is just the initial connection
which is bothering me. Can you please suggest something else? Thank you again.

What are you using to connect with ? what kind of modem and what kind of router (model #'S) and who is you isp ? IF your using a gateway (modem and router) that your isp gave you , then that's most likely the problem...

Thanks for the quick response, Im using the tilgin HG2300 ethernet gateway, provided by my isp here in the UK. I've been thinking about getting it replaced as it is a pretty basic model, is using a gateway instead of a router the issue here?

  6. I'm not sure what happened but there have been LOTS of issues on this forum and in almost every single one the person was using a gateway....so you just plug into a jack in the wall ? I looked at that gateway (haven't seen any like it over here) its not
a cable coming into your house ?

I had never heard of the brand before my isp gave the gateway to us, and I can't find much info online either.... Yeah, its plugged directly into the ethernet jack in the wall, and by xbox is connected wirelessly to the gateway, all my other devices are
working the same as always, so I can't work out why my xbox has suddenly stopped connecting like this

You could try a few things , restore the gateway to factory defaults ...that sometime gets things moving , try and connect it wired , to see if it just a wireless problem or something more ...if still no , I would bypass the gateway all together and plug
the xbox right into the wall jack...you may also call your isp and see what options they give you , the best setup in my opinion would be a MODEM ONLY from them and you use the router of your choice , over here (US) , netgear routers geared towards gaming
seem to work best but I don't really know how things work over there...

Thanks for the tips, I'll need to find a pretty lengthy cable as my xbox is a fair distance from the nearest ethernet jack. I used to have a netgear but it was replaced by the gateway... I'll try the reset idea in a while, when less people are using the
wi-fi. If worst comes to worst i'll just buy a new decent router.

  10. Try the restore first then , and maybe move the xbox closer to the jack just to test with , that may not even work with out a modem from your isp as I'm not familiar with that kind of setup , even if you do get a router , you need to call your isp and ask
them it they support it or if you need their modem...
