(XBOX ONE): Gift Card Problem, Says I Need A Credit Card For Rest of Purchase, Then Says ...

Hey people,

I am having a problem buying GTA 5 on XBOX ONE. I bought a code from the gamestop website using my gift card, then went on my xbox one and downloaded everything and it said I have $60.03. Everything is fine. But I when I went to buy GTA 5, and selected
my gift card with the $60.03, it said I needed a credit card to finish the purchase because I don't have sufficient funds. GTA is $59.99, and I have $60.03; doesn't really make any sense. It would be great if someone could help me. Thanks

Hey, just a quick, question about xbox purchases, any help is appreciated

I was just wondering, When you make a purchase on xbox on demand with a credit card, it will show up on your credit card statement, obviously. Will it show up as the name of the game I bought (like "skate 3") or will it just say something like" xbox purchase". Thanks in advance

Can I buy an Xbox Gift Card with Microsoft Credit?

So recently, my father purchased a new laptop. With that new laptop, he got a free $25 dollar prepaid card of Microsoft credit. He doesnt use the Microsoft store, so he wanted to give the prepaid Microsoft credit to me. The thing is, it is already in his
account. I was wondering if there is a way to directly deliver that credit to my account (This one) or to purchase an Xbox Gift Card with the Microsoft credit and then send me the code. When I tried gifting a 25$ Xbox Gift card to my email, it says "Sorry,
this process is denied" or something of the sort.

So in my state at 6.25% tax the cost would be 63.73$. You either need a credit card for the rest or buy a 5$ xbox gift card online from gamestop to finish the rest.

EDIT: the tax % rate may be based upon where MIcrosoft is located or your own home state of this i am unsure..none the less tax is still added to purchases.

Also, when you say 'credit card' if it's one of those bought in a store prepaid credit cards it may not work for online purchases. Those are just gift cards to most online purchasing.
