XBox One Getting Stuck doing Offline update

Greeting all -

I have an XBox One Day One Edition. I was constantly getting the green screen of death, so I decided to try and do an Offline USB update. The update will run, do the reboot, keep going, and then it consistently gets stuck on Step 3 of 3, Applying 76% with a 90% overall completion. I've tried a bunch of times and it keeps getting stuck there. Sometimes I then get an E200 error and I restart and it happens again. Sometimes the error never comes up, it just sits there at those percentages endlessly. I've also done factory resets, which sometimes fail and sometimes go through, except when it gets to the point of the Controller appearing on screen and you have to click the X and then A buttons the console is not responding at all to my button presses (though the controller works fine navigating the troubleshooting menu). I'm pretty much at the end of my rope and getting extremely frustrated. Anyone have any suggestions?

It usually is fixable, yes, might be an issue with the HDD indeed.

Unfortunately, Microsoft does not repair the original Xbox One anymore, only the One S and forward.

In your case, I advise you to look for a retail repair store in your city and take your console to an analysis.

I'm not sure I have another device to try to and sync it to. What I find odd is that the controller works perfectly fine when navigating the Troubleshooting menu. It's just when it gets to the stage after a reset. I just tried again and it seems like it's delayed or something. When I pressed the X it took a few seconds but eventually moved on to the A. Then when I pressed the A it made the noise like it got the command but the screen isn't changing. The controller on screen is still flashing the orange circle around the A. It all was working totally fine this morning.
