What's the Best Xbox Controller?

Wow I LOVE YOU for mentioning the Razer Sabertooth, I've been looking for an upgrade from the onza and haven't been able to find one and i had no idea razer was making a new one. Smiling Cat, you say you have one already but on the ebgames catalogue it says
you can pre order it for release on the 14/2/13

Custom button layout

I read a bit into the controller made by Razer, it has 4 customisable buttons (2 on the back and 2 in between the bumpers)

On the Xbox Elite controller you can change all buttons so if you want your bumper to be the A button you can do that, and still have 4 extra buttons on the back. In the end it all comes down to which you prefer. The Xbox Elite controller is heavier because
it has steel components. The Razer Wildcat is lighter and has different features.

I'd wait to see a few reviews, Razer's pads are garbage build quality. I had 3 Razer Onza 360 pads fail within weeks of each other. After the 3rd died I just got a refund, wouldn't go near their stuff again.

 

$150 for a controller? Yikes. I use to hate paying $10 or $15 for third party controllers for Atari 2600 at K Mart back in the early 90's. Guess inflation at a all time high. I laugh when people buy them $300 turtle beach head set and them break pretty
fast or make weird noises cause they are breaking down making whistling sounds or fart sounds. While I be using the old official Microsoft head sets that came with the system.

 

Someone posted on here months ago of an HDMI chord for a thousand dollars.... There's always going to be those who can, who fall for these things. One of my friends whos Australian went OMG when I said over here and in NZ, Xbox 360 and Xbox 1 controllers
brought new from retail stores may sell for $50-$100. I'm happy with how my Xbox 1 controller made by Microsoft not some random company I don't know. A part from how insane it vibrates and the micro-USB slot under it is it I have the Xbox 1 Day 1 console with
Kinect.

 

A controller for 1/3 of the priice of a full console, wow gotta give it to the gaming industry they sure know how to milk you plebs. Its your money I guess.

 

Have they come out with 360 style controllers yet?

 

I'll be sticking with the MS Elite controller when it comes out...

 

For the same asking price, I more so would go with a first party controller than a third party one. Though I'm not getting either this or the elite since I'm not a professional competitive player.

 

True that. I had one of them Afterglow third party controllers for 360. It was usb cord controller and was clear plastic and button to turn a blue light on. But after a while where the usb cord connected to the controller had a little wiggle like the
plastic was starting to crack and became a short. So I had to bend the cord near the controller and put a big rubber o-ring on it to pinch the cord. Other wise I got the pop up on screen saying reconnect controller. I hated that. But usb Microsoft 360
controller did same thing. The cord had little wiggle play where was connected to controller. Guess bad design?

 

i second Razer products are a rip off bunch of garbage, i have an Razor Blackwidow 2013 keyboard Blue Switches i think it coast me around £90, went faulty after around 7 months, press key once and about 10 letters would pop up.

didn't even bother taking it back ... didnt want to waste anymore of my time with there expensive rubbish ..

using an 6 year old rubber domed keyboard that cost pennys and still works as good as the day i bought it lol

Razer is just a brand name that charges stupid prices to anyone darft enough to fall for their advertising speail

and yea i fell for the speail but learned from it lol i would never touch a razer product again.

if i want to wast my money i'd set fire to it before being ripped off by them again lol

but thats just my feelings your may be better lol
