Xbox one gets constant orange light, but wont turn on

Hello everyone.

Got a problem here.. It's been a few weeks since my xbox one started to turn off by its own, so ok, I checked all the posts and videos on how to fix it, and sometimes it worked sometimes not.. So I decided to get a new power supply, and for my surprise,
nothing!! Now I have the biggest problem.. Is that when I connect the power supply, it gets a constant orange light but the console don't do nothing.. Can't turn on by pressing, controller nor ejecting.

Anyone have an idea? I'm already off warranty.

Maybe it's the power plug on the console? Or maybe the console died??

xbox one not turning on?

hi, I am trying to turn my xbox one on, the power supply has a constant orange light but the xbox is not turning on. Any advice please??

 

my power supply has an orange light that will not turn off and it wont turn my xbox on at all

there is an orange light on the power supply and it wont turn my xbox 1 on at all

 

How old is your console if I may ask?

 

Make sure that all the leads to and from PSU are fully inserted, It can show Orange even if not connected to console, You didn't mention one but don't plug into a power strip.

 

Tried all kinds of plugs and power supplies, Xbox one is dead, won't turn on... Tried 3 different psu. My xone is about 2 years old

 

The psu keeps orange, but the unit is dead

I'm sorry to hear that you're having issues what growling said is pretty much what I would have said sometimes when the brick is not getting enough voltage or to much from the wall outlet it's more or less a Fail-Safe system for the console. This protects
the console from internal issues AKA shorting out or possible hard drive issues, I don't build consoles for a living but I do build computers internally when a computer does that the power supply could be possibly bad.

Soultion 1 and suggestions

I'm sure you have tried many troubleshooting steps but I would recommend reading the support from Microsoft themselves on a no power from PSU

I would make sure that the power brick has sufficient air flow and is not getting overheated or crowded

Like growling said check to make sure all the connections are securely input from the wall to the brick to the console

Make sure the power supply it's plugged up to a wall outlet and not a power strip as this can cause voltage fluctuation



I hope this helps you get your console back up and running would you happen to know if your consoles under warranty? If so you may be able to request a replacement piece for your PSU I think Hardware
is included on the warranty. If this still doesn't help your issue please let us know so we can continue troubleshooting or help you get a replacement part.
