Xbox One Gen2 bumpers not fit for purpose

Quite simply, the bumpers in the gen2 controller including the "elite" are not fit for purpose!

The fact that they're even in the standard controller is bad enough but to also have that same flimsy, cheap and substandard component in the £120 "elite" controller is, quite frankly, disgusting.

I am about to return my 6th elite to the retailer in as many months. Yes, I will probably get a free replacement but how is this acceptable for such an expensive accessory?

I also know it's a relatively easy fix if you have the right tools and parts but that really is not the point either and not recommended if you're within your warranty though I seriously doubt these bumpers are lasting passed any warranty date.

Please don't mention user abuse or whatever as that is absurd unless: pressing-your-bumpers-as-if-they-are-bone-china-in-the-fear of-them-breaking constitutes abuse.

Please could MS or Xbox address this issue as it seems like it's either planned obsolescence gone mad or a con-job or simply poor design, none of which are a good look.

Media player not fit for purpose

Yes, I'm having the same bad experience with Media Player. Does nobody at Microsoft test anything? Why would you not display photos in portrait orientation? Back to the PS3 for me too.

Just moved from ps3 to xbox 1s as it is compatible with tiff files. very dissapointed with awful functionality of the media player regarding viewing digital images from a usb hard drive. Images taken in portrait mode are not displayed properly only half
the image is seen. The slide show (display all) is truly abismal. Images are not shown in full. A zoomed view is shown with the image being moved around showing various areas of the image the full image is not shown before the next image appears. Surey altering
the time the image is on screen and changing transition effects is a basic feature of a slide show. It is so bad I have no option but to reconnect my old ps3 as it does all this with ease Please can this be fixed

Really sorry to hear about your Xbox Elite Controller troubles! 6 replacements in 6 months certainly isn't normal, and as a gamer who uses his Elite controller on a day-to-day basis, I personally haven't experienced any issues with my launch day controller.
