Xbox One Gen 2 Remote issue.

In January of 2017 earlier this year, i purchased an Xbox One Generation 2 (S) Controller. I bought it because it had bluetooth capabilites (Which were something i needed as i use it for more than just the xbox) and because it was blue, and goes with the
theme of my game room. So skip forward 4 months, no problems, aside from a slight squeaking from the left side of the remote when i grip it tightly or push down on the left trigger too hard. While i was playing overwatch with some friends earlier today, suddenly
my right trigger started making a strange clicking noise. I jostled it from side to side gently for a moment, and it went away, for the time. Later on, i noticed that my remote was making a strange rattling noise from inside, as if something internally had
broken off. Upon further investigation i discovered that my right trigger was slightly popping out of the socket, and a clearly chipped off piece was missing from the lower side of it. Right now it works fine, aside from the rattling and the right trigger
getting stuck every few minutes, but this is not what i expect after 4 months of light use. I dont keep it in extreme conditions, it stays on top of my xbox at all times, as right now this is the only controller i have. Can i send it in for repairs? Can i
fix it myself? I havent tried fixing it for risk of violating warranty, but i am unable to return it where i purchased it (amazon.com) because it is out of standard return range. I have been an xbox supporter for as long as i can remember, and i would hate
to have such a problem cause me to stop purchasing microsoft products.

Xbox One Media Remote No TV Support

I just purchased the xbox one media remote and am experiencing an issue trying to control the volume/mute button, they don't work plain and simple. The remote functions fine with the xbox one. I have the xbox set up for my tv and it turns it on/off without
issue. Any ideas why the remote doesn't work with my tv?

 

Xbox One Media Remote Issue

I purchased the media remote about 2 weeks ago. At first, everything was super user friendly. All I had to do was plug the batteries in and the xbox one responded seamlessly. I watch Twitch a lot through xbox one, so the majority of the remote usage was
just powering on the xbox and navigating to the Twitch App.

The problem: About a week ago, the xbox one became completely unresponsive to the remote. I had used the remote just fine the night before, so this issue was surprising. I tried replacing the batteries, but nothing worked. I decided to go ahead and order
a new remote thinking maybe it was just a rare defect. The troubleshooting options for the remote are very limited and were not helpful or even related to the specific problem I was experiencing.

I ordered the new remote, which arrived yesterday. About an hour ago I opened the remote up, stuck the batteries in, and still nothing. The remote lights up and responds to movement. It's just that my xbox one will not respond to the remote, at all. I'm
able to perform all other functions just normal with a wireless controller.

Can anyone guide me on how to alleviate this issue? Thanks for your time!

Contact Us page to have them see what options you may have with regards to a replacement. Generally speaking, warranties on accessories is 90 days, but talking with them will give you your best
options.
