Xbox one Gears of war ultimate edition update, not install issue

ok so i suppose i should start fromt he begining, so i had preordered the digital version of gears of war ultimate addition about 4 days from launch so i had began to download it and had noticed that my install woult only get up to 20% from there it allows
you to start the game, so the first time i had started the game not knowing that the install was having a problem and when i clicked versus inside the game a box came up and said that i could choose which installed first, campaign or multiplayer, so selected
multiplayer, and for about 4 hours ihad left my xbox alone with the 20% thinking that the internet was just really slow, but it never got past 20%, so i contacted microsoft support about 6 times with and every time they gave me a sugjestion to do something
it never worked so on the 5th time i was fed up with it. I had asked to get a refund so i could re-purchase the game (a support member had mentioned that it may have beensome sort of faulty liscening, so i thought thats what it was) turns out that thats not
what it was because after i had got my refund and re-purchased the game i was getting the same issue, so i asked for another refund and the 6th agent was very kind and gave me a refund so that i may be able to purchase the disc version, as i did. when i got
back from the store with my disc version i was thrilled because would finally be able to play this game, but when the download never got past 20% when i was online, so i remember an old fix about disconnecting from xbox live to install it. Now here is the
new problem that i am having, (please note that the game is currently installed correctly and i can play online versus so i am oviously connecting to the games servers or what-not) the game needed an ubdate so i thought ok i hope this doesnt screw up, and
obviously it did, when i look at the update in my games and apps screen it shows it at 7% finished, and when i go into the game it says in the bottom right corner that it is at 83%, i can still play multiplayer i just cant acces the campaign because it says
that the campaign isnt done installing, even though i installed it complety offline with no problem being able to play the campaign, i dont know what is going on this doesnt make any since to me what so ever it feels like im cursed with this game. please anyone
who knows anything leave any possible solutions, im enjoying the mutiplayer but i would like to play the campaign over xbox live.
