Xbox One - Gaming Headsets - Any News???

Is anybody else fed up with their bog standard headset? granted it does the job but i'm used to hearing the enemy from across the other side of the map. It's been over 2 months now since they released the one and quite frankly i was disappointed to
find out there was no additional option to a headset other than microsoft's version. So when are they going to set dates for these so called adapters to come out? ive heard rumours that turtle beach will have them by March but yet again nothing set in concrete...

Has anybody seen or heard of anything solid date wise as it would be nice to just know what to expect...

Terrible quality xbox one headsets

I never really used the headset that came with my Day One Edition Xbox One. I waited until the real headsets started coming out before I started seriously doing any mp gaming on Xbox One.

Not sure about the adapters, but both Polk and Turtle Beach have X1 headsets coming in February

Thanks for responding. I've tried the suggestions already with no success. The system is an xbox 1s. It is a wired headset connected to the controller. I've tried multiple headsets with multiple controllers. I have sound for both the games and other people in the chat but the mic is not working for any of the headsets, one of which is brand new. Thanks for any help with this.

Possibly the headset is giving up the ghost may be wise to purchase a new one? I can recommend the wireless official xbox headset superb, and I never have any problems with it. Is your current headset quite new or old?

You would need to look at a new headset designed for Xbox One. There are not any adapters, unfortunately.

question please...when in party chat, I can hear others, but they can't hear me. So far I've tried 2 different xbox ones, three controllers (one new) and three headsets (one new). My friend has tried two controllers and two headsets (one new).
NAT is open on both xboxes, microphone switched on in settings, mic not muted on the headset, volume turned up in settings. I've done a self / solo party test, which worked OK, circle around gamertag responds to voice. Help is appreciated as I'm stuck!

I am having similar issues with a new headset. We can pair and hear the game audio through the headset, but it is not signalling into, nor receiving any chat audio....
