    Xbox One Gamesharing


    Hey there, Witcher 3 came out pretty recently, my friend has it digitally download through the xbox store. I asked him if I can play it as well, and he said sure we'll gameshare. So my question is, can you gameshare one way only? So I get to download Witcher
    3 and that's the only thing (so nothing else is being shared). Does he need my account info too, or just me with his info and can download the game?

    Why is my gamesharing not working?

    My friend is gamesharing with me and one day I got on Xbox and click on one of the game but it didn't work, and he told me that he isn't gamesharing with anyone else. Why is this happening, and we didn't change our Xbox home more than 3 times a year.

    Xbox One Gamesharing

    He would have to set your console as his Home console. You would then have access to anything he has downloaded as well as anything he downloads in the future. However, keep in mind that if he is sharing games with anyone on his console, they will lose access
    to those games. If he changes him Home setting anywhere else, you will lose access to the games. Also make sure he knows you can only change your Home setting 3 times a year.

    No I've never done that. I have always gameshared with my uncle since the original xbox one. Never tried to gameshare with anyone else and I have never asked anyone for there personal information
