    so i got my xbox one for christmas and bc i have no internet i gave it to a mate and he set it all up for me and bc i had 5 games that had to br downloaded they werent on discs he downloaded them all for me but when i got it back i tried to play the games
    offline but they wouldnt work i tried to play them online and they worked. this happened to anyone else? any solutions or should i just take it back?

    Obviously, there's no disc you can insert, but there is an easy fix: set up your system as My Home Xbox. The option is found under the Settings menu. There's a button in the bottom left corner that will let you "Make this my home Xbox." Enabling this option
    will allow all profiles on the console to access the content as well, whether or not that specific profile bought it. Of course, you can only have one "Home Xbox" configured to your account at a time.

    Xbox 360 to Xbox One

    You will need to buy Xbox One games, as the Xbox One is not backwards compatible. Xbox 360 games will not work on the Xbox One, and Xbox One games will not work on the 360. Sorry!

    There are two different versions of the same game as decided by the game developer; one for xbox 360 and the other for xbox one. You need the xbox one version of the game to play it for xbox one.
