Xbox one games won’t work please help

Hi so im really needing some help with some issues im having with my xbox one firstly it keeps crashing then i need to restart the console and it continues to do this for a while secondly when now trying to play games it loads up shows the home screen
for the game then goes right back to the dashboard or says its taken too long try again but nothing is working any advice would be hugely appriciated thanks in advance

Have you tried a hard reset? Or doing a full factory reset on the console? You have the option of keeping all your games so you don't have to redownload them.

Sorry to hear it. I would recommend trying a
factory reset of the console. There's an option to keep installed games and apps so you won't need to redownload them and your saves will be safe on the Cloud.

If that doesn't work then you would need to set up a repair of the console. You can set it up at
this link. Once the repair has been set up and you have received your shipping label you can pack up the console and send it off.

Try performing a hard reset EXACTLY like this. Hold the power button on the console for 8 seconds or until the power shuts down completely.
Unplug the power cord from the back of the console for 5 minutes.
Plug the power cord back in and restart the console.

I have had similiar issues in the past best advice i can give you is this unplug the power adapater from the xbox and leave it unplug for anywhere from 5 to 60 minutes just long enough for system and any external hard drives you have to cool down then
retry if issues persist after that contact xbox support and they can help you further explore the problem

Yeah, I'd also recommend starting with a hard reset. Hold the power button on the console until it turns off (it should only take about 10 seconds). Then, turn it back on, and see if this fixes the issue.
