Xbox One Games wont Update

So I noticed this problem about a week ago. When ever i try to update a game the download will just freeze the second "ready to start" appears. It doesn't matter if I own the game digitally or a physical copy. I have tried to restart, reset, and factory
reset and every game does this. I have discovered if I make my xbox go offline I can install the game from a disc just fine, but when I reconnect and try to update it does the same thing. For example last night i reinstalled assassins creed unity after a factory
reset offline and it installed perfectly, but when I connected to the internet to update it, it has stopped at 34% with "ready to start" displayed on it. On the other hand I can install apps like netflix no problem.

I really have no idea what to try any more, and ill take any suggestion.

Games wont start

My xbox one wont play any newly downloaded games since the September update is there any fix for this?

 

Game updates not downloading while I'm not home.

Which updates? Console updates? or Game updates? if its game updates they wont update until you choose to play it. Console updates and things you buy online are the only things the xbox one auto downloads, from what i understand.

 

Sorry to hear it. Can you please try holding the power button on the console for 10 seconds until it shuts down then unplug everything from the console and let it sit for 5 minutes.

During this time unplug your modem/router for 10 seconds to let it reset.

Like i said i have done this before, but i went ahead and did it again to no change.

 

Sorry but I didn't see where you said that you reset the modem/router. You just mentioned that you did everything offline.
