Issue occurs. Kick the old download from max, try to download new, same issue.

Since tis problems my one freezes and hangs while booting.

Xbox live thinks I have a 360 not an xbox one. I am unable to download any free games.

Some users are reporting that updating their consoles (an update which only just went out) has been resolving the issue.

To force the update manually, go to Settings>System>Update Console

After that try again to download Halo & Max.

actually after update max works, halo not. i try to install dr3...it stucks since hours on 98%. something is wrong...

Games with gold for the xbox one only work will you have xbox gold, so if you got this as one of the games for gold, it will only work will you have a subscription

Hi there,

All Xbox One Games with Gold require an active Gold Subscription in order to play them. Xbox 360 ones do not.

Scroll to the bottom where it says "Games with Gold Free Games Offer" and it says exactly how the free games with gold works on Xbox One.

Cloud storage won't work with a 2 day gold trial. Requires at least a full month of Xbox Live Gold.

If you have Gold on the One you also have Gold on the 360 if you log into the console with the account that has Gold. Buy a month of Gold on the One and use that to load save games into the cloud and access them from the Xbox One. Backward compatible games
won't transfer, they need to be downloaded to Xbox One from within My Games and Apps.

Do you still have an Xbox live gold subscription?

To continue to have the license to play the Xbox One games It is required to keep a gold subscription active on the account. And NO sharing a gold subscription with another profile does not work.

The 360 games are not affected by the gold subscription requirement.

Once you renew the gold subscription you will gain access back to the licenses for the Xbox One Games with Gold.
