xbox one games with gold needs to change.

Its not too late to change anything for 360. Why are apps no longer locked behind the paywall on either console? Because MS decided to change their policy on the subject. And because it would make zero sense to have 2 different policies regarding the apps,
and it makes zero sense to have two different policies concerning games with gold.

 

^^ It's too late to change because it would annoy people who only have a 360. When they made the apps free to use it benefited everyone.

It's the same with Sony. The PS3 is free to play online and you have to pay for PS+ to play online with the PS4.

If anything, they will change it to be the same as the Xbox One policy, but you never know.

 

It's fine the way it is. It's an incentive for those who don't have gold to purchase and enjoy the free games per month. If it lapses, well then you're out of luck. Time to renew. Sony is the same way and it's an incentive for anyone to buy PS+ to get free
games. If MS changes the GFG on the One, it would be a stupid decision.

 

To me the 360 side of things is great and the One is perfectly fine as the free games that I am bound to recieve will pretty much pay for my yearly Gold sub.

 

I agree with bran. I don't see the problem with the system. They're encouraging people to remain Gold. These "free" games aren't entitled to us. MS is offering these as a "thank you" to people who pay for a subscription.

 

It's probably so Microsoft can include newer games. With the 360 you get old games so Microsoft can give them away like they do, but with the Xbox One all the games are still fairly new.

 

I think bentleyma is right. The biggest knock on MS free games program has been that they give us really old games, while Sony gives its customers games that have released the current year sometimes. Now that they have made this switch, perhaps we will
get newer games.

 

Xbox Dosent need to follow in the footsteps of Sony. There Not Free games. there just bonuse with gold. Free means if i Dont have gold or Internet i will be ably to play them. I Dont care about New or Old games. a game is a game to me. I will always buy
the news games out at gamestop. But thats not the point im trying to say. Dont have a program on one Xbox and Switch it on the other one. Xbox 360 Games for Gold program is betters and thats why it needs to be change back. Like I dont care if a game is old
or not. Because everthing they give us is old to begin with anyway.

 

I understand where you're coming from, but sadly it's how it's going to be. It gives Xbox One owners more incentive to get gold. Yes the 360 lets you keep the game, but we all are going to have to live with it. XBL isn't that expensive. If you can't afford
to pay it yearly, then why do you own a video game console and buy new games every so often? An extra $60 fee shouldn't be a problem.

Yes, once you go silver, you lose the game, but once you go back to gold you'll get that game back. I personally have no problem with this because to be honest, I probably wont be re-playing all of the games I play anyways. All of the games I have I rarely
touch anymore. Now, maybe you like to go back to you backlog and re-play a game, but it'll just be that you'll have to get Gold again.

Times are changing, this happens all the time. Things change and we all have to deal with it.
